MANIC PIXIE DREAM COUPLE
A ceremony at Moana Hall with a reception at The standard bar
Owning their style and shaping a wedding around it, these two smitten kittens gave me all the feels and some joyous editing.
Savannah & Pavan
These two really can only be defined by these pictures. They were one of the most emotional and romantic couples I have photographed. They seemed cut from the same cloth - a very animated, psychedelic fabric.
The format of this wedding was a little different and I liked it! They had their ceremony at heritage building, Moana Hall and stayed there for speeches and a first dance.
Then we roamed the City & Northbridge for portraits. I loved their choice to just bring a huge collection of mates along for the ‘bridal party’ with an emerald theme. We took the crew to the bar where they first hooked up - Ezra Pound. It was like a small party within the big party.
Then the party really started at The Standard Bar. No formalities, just drinking and smoke machines.
What I particularly noticed is that this wedding blended some traditional and sparkly elements with their personal style to bring it up to a ‘wedding vibe’ but with colour and spice.
Savannah’s dress was a sparkly number called Lunella from Watters Designs. Her vivid bouquet were by Floral State.
Side Bar: We also met up a week prior to do portraits after their Indian Ceremonies. That was a taste of things to come!
